Raúl Aguilar's latest body of work goes back to pure abstraction to rediscover the love for painting. Using his most immediate kin as a starting point, each of these paintings was named after a person close to him: family, friends, and pets. Each painting stands as a good wish, a protective charm, or a guardian angel, but mostly as time spent having someone else promenading in his mind.
