To celebrate our new gallery space, we are proud to share our current group exhibition titled: Stat. Sig.
The exhibition title implies a sense of irony but it is correct in its intentions. In hypothesis testing, statistical significance (Stat. Sig.) is achieved when the result observed is unlikely to have been obtained by chance. The appropriate sample size is one of the prerequisites for a valid statistical analysis, in a parallel-figuratively manner, this group exhibition offers the viewer a representative sample of Canadian and Mexican contemporary art practices including, painting, video, paper collage, print-making, sculpture, installation and photography.
