About
Born in Algoe (USA), Mathieu Cardin comes from a background in photography and cinema, and currently focuses on sculpture and immersive installation works. Mathieu moved to Montreal with no previous experience in visual arts. A year later, he was accepted into the Master's program in sculpture at Concordia University. His work oscillates between reality and illusion, cleanliness with deconstruction. Mathieu's most recent solo show was shown at the Université de Montreal exhibition hall in 2022.
Mathieu Cardin is currently represented by TAP Art Space.
